currently taking cisapride (Propulsid), astemizole (Hismanal),

In some rare
cases, a treatment with Nizoral has triggered serious liver damage

even if the infection is not completely cured.
Before
you start taking Ketoconazole,

from:
achlorhydria
(a decreased production of stomach acid);
liver disease;

reducers.

There are other less severe side effects (but more common) side
effects that could be triggered by a treatment with Nizoral. You
may continue your treatment with this medicine, but you should
alert your personal physician if you experience any of the following
side effects:
nausea, abdominal
pain, vomiting;
headache;
diarrhea;
fatigue;
dizziness;
itching.
Other side effects that have not been mentioned here may also
